From spreadsheets to a platform built for growth.
Men's Alliance gathers men into small groups called tribes. By 2023, dozens of tribes each ran on its own Google Sheet. We built a custom Craft CMS platform that lets the ministry grow without the spreadsheets.

The challenge
The tribes were working. The tools hadn't kept pace.
The tribes were working, and men kept showing up. The tools behind them hadn't kept pace.
Every tribe lived in its own spreadsheet
Leadership, signups, and rosters were split across separate Google Sheets.
The data was siloed
No one could see the whole ministry in one place: how many men were involved, which tribes were growing, or where new leaders were needed.
The website and store were separate from the ministry
The site and merch store ran on Squarespace, with no connection to the tribes or the men in them.
Growth meant more admin work
Each new tribe added another sheet to manage by hand, so the system got harder to run as the ministry grew.
The ministry needed one platform that could keep up with the calling.
What we built in Craft CMS
The most complex platform we've built.
A few pieces do most of the heavy lifting.
Tribe leadership, run from the site
Men sign up to lead right on the site, and before each gathering tribe leaders get notified who's leading the fire, the workout, and the devo. Launching a new tribe takes a few details. No new spreadsheet required.
A tribe finder map that brings men in
The tribe finder map shows men where they can plug in near home. It got significant updates this past year so men can find the right tribe faster as the count passed 500.
A headless Shopify store, run from Craft
We moved the merch store from Squarespace to Shopify and run it headless from Craft. Shoppers get a store that feels like part of the ministry's site, and Shopify handles products, inventory, and orders behind the scenes.
Member accounts, registration, and giving in one place
Every man has an account with roles and a login, and can register and pay for events and coaching through Stripe. The site shows the ministry's donation tiers and links to its giving platform.
Connected everywhere men are
Email notifications go out through Postmark and texts through Twilio, reaching members and leaders where they are. The ministry's Spotify podcast and YouTube channel stay in sync on the site.
Kept building as the ministry grew
Since launch it has had more than 1,300 code updates, and it moved to Craft CMS 5 as part of our ongoing development and support. Nine months into 2026, it has seen more code changes than in all of 2025.

After
Launching a new tribe takes just a few details, and it's published and live. No new spreadsheet required.
Siebird built a site that keeps up with us. Tribes, events, merch, and giving all live in one place, and it just works.

More results
More men, more tribes, one place.
Tribes are multiplying
The ministry had 68 tribes at launch and now has more than 500, nearly eight times as many. The ministry launched nearly as many new tribes in the first nine months of 2026 as in all of 2025.
A wider reach
As of mid-2026, Men's Alliance tribes are meeting in 43 states and on four continents, from the US to Kenya, Nigeria, England, Hungary, Australia, and New Zealand. The tribe finder map is how men in each of those places find their nearest fire.
More of the mission runs through one place
Event registrations, experiences, and the merch store now share one platform, so more of what supports the ministry flows through the site instead of scattered tools. According to the ministry's mid-2026 report, more than 1,700 people attended MA Experiences in 2026, and over 1,500 people bought over 8,500 merch items in the first half of the year. Donation tiers sit right alongside, linking to the ministry's giving platform.
More men are finding the ministry
The site has welcomed more than 1 million visitors and over 3 million pageviews since launch. In 2026 it averages about 55,000 visitors a month, nearly double the same months in 2025, and visitors stay around four minutes.
