Tired of fighting your Craft site? Let's make it easy to manage.

If you already run Craft, an upgrade is usually the smarter first move. A rebuild earns its cost when the foundation itself is the problem.

Option A

Upgrade what you have if:

  • Your content structure still matches how your team publishes.
  • The design still represents you, even if it could use a refresh.
  • The real problems are an old Craft version, stale plugins, or slow pages.
How upgrades work
Option B

Build new if:

  • You're on Craft 2 or an early Craft 3 build, and the templates fight every change.
  • Your editors work around the content model instead of with it.
  • Your brand or your offer has changed, and a reskin won't cover it.
  • You're moving to Craft from a different CMS.

How a Craft build runs.

The content model comes before design, because that's the part your team lives with every day after launch.

  1. Scope

Start with what the site has to do.

Who uses and edits the site, and what it connects to. You get a written scope and quote before any design.

  2. Content model

Plan the content before the pixels.

Sections, entry types, and fields shaped around how your team publishes, so the site stays easy to run.

  3. Design and templates

Build it where you can click through it.

Design turns into real Craft templates on a staging site early, so you review working pages with your own content.

  4. Content and training

Your team learns on its own content.

Content gets moved in, and your editors learn the control panel on the pages they will be updating.

  5. Launch

    Nothing left for later.

Redirects from your old URLs, analytics, backups, and uptime monitoring are in place on launch day.

  6. Care plan

    Looked after from day one.

The site moves onto a care plan, so updates, backups, and fixes have an owner from day one.

After launch, we keep it healthy.

Your new site moves straight onto a care plan. Craft and plugin updates go on as they ship, backups get tested, and the site is monitored. When you need a change, you call us.

07 / FAQ

Before you start a Craft build.

Do we need a new site, or would an upgrade do?

Often an upgrade will do. If your content structure and design still fit, an upgrade costs far less than a rebuild, and we'll tell you which one you need.

Who will we actually work with?

Our own small team models your content, writes the templates, and launches the site. Austin Siewert, our founder, is involved from start to finish.

How long does a new Craft build take?

It depends on the number of templates, the content to migrate, and the integrations. The written scope includes a timeline, so you know the launch window before work starts.

Can you move us to Craft from another CMS?

Yes. Content migration is planned into the scope, along with redirects from your old URLs so you don't lose the search traffic you already have.

Do we own the site?

Yes. You own the code, the content, and the Craft license. If you ever want to move on, another Craft developer can pick it up.

What happens after launch?

The site moves onto a care plan: Craft and plugin updates as they ship, backups you can restore, monitoring, and someone to call when something needs changing. You don't have to go looking for a maintenance shop the week after launch.
